Position Description:

The Investment Operations Reconciliation Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the Reconciliation team. The core responsibility is managing the reconciliation process for activities on Private Credit funds, managing the teams’ deliverables and developing best in class processes to meet the evolving daily environment. The manager will oversee a team of reconciliation operation SME’s who specialize in reconciling funds with private loans as the main investment type.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage all client deliverables and team deliverables, maintaining best practices.

  • Create and implement operational standards and procedures across the team.

  • Assist with the professional development of staff and supervisors.

  • Develop a strong understanding of processing private credit life cycle events.

  • Stay abreast of current industry developments.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients, Internal accounting teams, vendors and internal relationship managers across a global team.

  • Manage resource planning of the team including partnering with other teams.

  • Train, coach and mentor new employees; develop and motivate staff within their team.

  • Ensure client service excellence and query resolution on a timely basis.

  • Participate in and/or lead department initiatives & group projects as appropriate, in particular those related to operating model improvements and operational efficiencies.

What you bring to the table: 

  • At least 10 years’ experience in Alternative funds with a minimum of 5 years of reconciliation operations experience;

    • 4 of which should be at a supervisory or management level.

  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting systems.

  • Knowledge of reconciliation platforms

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx automation tools desirable.

  • B.S./B.A. in Accounting/Finance or related field.
