Hybrid Role: 3 Days Per Week On-Site in Dublin
We're looking for an experienced and hands-on International Payroll Manager to take the lead on payroll operations spanning multiple countries across Europe, LATAM, and Asia. This is more than a management role—it's an opportunity to combine deep technical payroll expertise with inspiring leadership as you guide a dedicated team of two and partner strategically with our international payroll vendor. You'll own the day-to-day operations from the ground up, ensuring flawless, timely payroll delivery while championing process standardization and building a culture where your team thrives. If you're energized by fast-paced environments and love the balance of strategic leadership and rolling up your sleeves, this is your chance to drive real impact on a global scale.
A Typical Day
Kicking off each day with dynamic planning sessions to align on critical deadlines and payroll priorities
Orchestrating end-to-end international payroll cycles with precision—from reviewing inputs and outputs to authorizing wire approvals
Serving as the trusted escalation point for employee payroll inquiries and delivering swift, thoughtful resolutions
Stewarding relationships with external payroll vendors to guarantee seamless operations and bulletproof compliance
Ensuring accurate review and filing of social security, tax, and pension obligations across diverse regions
Empowering your team through hands-on mentorship while spearheading process innovations and standardization initiatives
Driving cross-functional special projects and championing payroll system enhancements
This Role May Be For You If
You come alive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and expertly balance competing priorities
You lead small teams with a collaborative spirit that motivates and inspires
You're naturally proactive and solution-focused, spotting potential issues before they surface
You communicate with clarity and confidence across internal collaborators and external partners
You take pride in ownership and are passionate about refining and standardizing workflows
You're equally comfortable diving into the details and stepping back for strategic oversight
You build vendor relationships rooted in professionalism, trust, and mutual accountability
You bring sharp analytical thinking paired with an unwavering attention to detail
To Be Considered
You'll need substantial payroll experience, including proven success as a payroll manager with direct people leadership responsibilities. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is required. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros), hands-on experience with Workday or Oracle, and a track record of managing outsourced payroll operations are highly valued.
