Duration: 15 Month Fixed Term Contract

Working Hours: 7:00am – 3.30pm

The International Settlements Team is a part of Operations and Services Group (OSG), a division of Fidelity Institutional that provides superior customer service to Fidelity businesses through innovation, dedication, and commitment to excellence. In operating locations across the US and in Ireland, OSG plays a critical role by processing every transaction into Fidelity and out to customers, through the brokerage platform. OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and risk management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients.

The Purpose of Your Role

The International Operations Associate is responsible for trade settlement for 56 markets and 20 currencies globally. In addition, the new associate must have effective communication skills for daily interaction with Contra-Brokers, internal teams, and our clients.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related discipline.
  • 0+ years of experience, (Up to 2 years within financial services and/or a shared service model preferable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook (not required but preferable)

The Value You Deliver

  • Use SWIFT, SHADOSUITE, Euroclear, Citibank For Securities to process and settle trades in Global markets.
  • Review and monitor the clearance of all current and aged International Broker to Broker and DVP/RVP trades.
  • Identify and resolve Firm exposure relating to International uncleared trades.
  • Process International TOA settlements.
  • Be analytical and possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Be motivated and show desire to learn about the business and innovative technologies.
  • Be reasonably flexible regarding working hours/shift.
