Industry Capability Manager

Full time permanent position based in Dublin

Reports To: Head of Industry Capability

Grade: 4

The salary scale for this role is €83,652 - €99,147; with Long Service increments of LSI1: €102,343 & LSI2: €105,542

*New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the Scale

Purpose

In this role, you will enable the development of client capability in sales and marketing and at each stage of the client’s route to market journey, by creating and sharing best-in class content, delivered through a mix of bespoke supports, group learning initiatives and always-on online materials.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver commercial marketing and project management capability support to Bord Bia clients on a 1:1, group, and self-serve basis in accordance with their needs including but not limited to Strategic Planning, Digital Marketing, Category and Customer Management, Innovation.

  • Project manage the design, execution, and facilitation of 1:1 and group Strategic Planning supports for food, drink and horticulture clients using the Bord Bia Strategic Planning framework.

  • Contribute to CRM tracking, reporting and evaluation of client capability projects and supports to identify future needs as part of Bord Bia annual planning process

  • Develop and manage client capability content on My Bord Bia.

  • Develop, evolve and execute digital marketing capability programmes and identify growth opportunities on digital marketplaces.

  • Collaborate, support and contribute to cross-functional projects within wider SI&IC as required

  • Collaborate with the CSE and GBD teams to identify impactful Strategic Planning solutions for clients through understanding and executing client, sector and market plans.

  • Support Bord Bia’s leadership position and expertise in commercial strategy and client capability through championing best practice in all client work.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with other departments and develop opportunities to build and maintain strong external relationships with Bord Bia clients.

  • Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an FMCG marketing or commercial role
