Indirect Tax Senior Manager - EMEA

Location: Limerick Ireland or Warszawa Poland.

Join Dell’s EMEA Tax team during a time of unprecedented change. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure across numerous countries and cultures while shaping the indirect tax strategy for the EMEA region. As Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you will advise the business on complex tax queries, manage compliance and audits across multiple jurisdictions, and lead strategic initiatives such as modernization projects and large-scale transformations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive indirect tax strategy across the EMEA region, providing expert guidance on complex tax implications for cross-border transactions and supply chain structures, working directly with sales, solutions teams, legal and corporate finance.
  • Advise on business transformations, and tax technology implementations to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee tax obligations, manage audits and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead VAT-related projects such as e-invoicing, digital reporting, automation.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on business operations, communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Professional tax and/or accounting qualification with 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in indirect tax.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex business deal structures and advisory projects across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in a professional tax consultancy or multinational tax environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and tax technology solutions.
  • Exposure to highly matrixed organizations and cross-functional collaboration.
