  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including payroll specialists, IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure that the payroll solution is configured correctly. Facilitate smooth coordination with third-party vendors and local providers to meet client needs in each country.
  • Global Payroll Setup & Optimization: Guide clients in the setup of payroll systems across multiple countries, advising them on optimal workflows, data handling, and payroll compliance for each jurisdiction. Help clients adapt to varying tax regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering & Process Design: Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their payroll needs, workforce structures, and specific challenges. Collaborate to design efficient payroll processes that incorporate best practices for accuracy and compliance.
  • System Configuration & Testing: Work with the technical team to configure payroll systems in line with global payroll best practices and client-specific requirements. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system functions as expected and that payroll runs smoothly.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide training to client teams on how to use the payroll system effectively. Ensure clients understand how to leverage the system’s full capabilities and follow best practices to achieve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Identify potential risks related to payroll compliance and operational efficiency. Advise clients on how to mitigate risks and navigate complex regulatory environments. Keep clients updated on changes in legislation and emerging trends that may impact their payroll operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine payroll processes and solutions. Contribute to the development of best practices and processes that help clients enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their payroll systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management or payroll implementation, ideally with a focus on global payroll, HR systems, or enterprise software. Demonstrated experience in guiding clients through best practices in payroll management is a plus.
  • Global Payroll Expertise: Deep understanding of global payroll practices, including tax regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements in a variety of countries. Ability to navigate complex payroll structures and advise clients on local nuances.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects, including developing detailed plans, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building strong client relationships and providing strategic guidance. Ability to translate complex payroll issues into simple, actionable solutions for clients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software and systems  is essential. Understanding of system integration, data migration, and technical configurations is beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to proactively address challenges and propose solutions that enhance the client experience and improve payroll outcomes.
