POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) will serve as a strategic partner to Business Operations leaders across approximately 300+ full-time employees spanning 10 diverse functions based in Dublin as well as a small Business Operations employee population in London. This role will work in close alignment with Global HCBPs, EMEA Head of HC and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent, scalable, and high-impact people solutions that support business strategy, growth, and organisational effectiveness. The successful candidate will balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution, leveraging data, strong stakeholder relationships, and global best practices to drive talent, performance, and culture outcomes.

This is an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the employee experience for a growing, diverse Dublin-based population while contributing to global HR strategy. The role offers meaningful exposure to senior leaders, global partners, and complex organisational challenges.

This role will dually report to the Global Head of Business Operations HCBP as well as the EMEA Head of HC and will have one direct report based in the Dublin office.

RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Business Partnership
  • Partner with Global HCBPs and functional leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into people strategies aligned with the Dublin and London Business Operations’ employee population.
  • Provide thought leadership and coaching to leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex people matters, ensuring alignment with company values, policies, and employment legislation.
Talent & Performance Management
  • Drive end-to-end talent processes including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning
  • Partner with Global HCBPs and COEs to implement global talent initiatives locally, ensuring consistency and impact
  • Support leaders in building high-performing, inclusive teams through effective goal setting, feedback, and development
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities in partnership with local and global stakeholders
  • Serve as a point of escalation for sensitive employee issues, partnering with Legal and ER COE as needed
Organisational Effectiveness & Change
  • Support organisational changes such as organisation design, role clarity, and scaling initiatives
  • Partner with COEs (Reward, Talent Development, Culture, People Analytics) to drive integrated solutions
  • Use data and insights to inform decisions and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives
Global Collaboration
  • Work closely with Global HCBPs to ensure alignment across regions and functions
  • Participate in global HR forums, projects, and initiatives to share best practices and ensure local representation
  • Act as a bridge between global strategy and local execution
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Work closely with Finance, Compliance and Legal team on required regulatory documentation and processes for each of the KKR entities in Ireland including but not limited to:
    • Supporting Senior Management, the Boards and the Remuneration Committee in Ireland– with meeting its various regulatory requirements
    • Assisting with documenting pre-approved control functions, including MRTs
    • Overseeing conduct and culture matters
    • Supporting IAF/SEAR/Fitness & Probity Regime frameworks
    • Supporting on Central Bank of Ireland related matters
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, policies, and procedures within the Dublin office and regulators, including emerging pay transparency requirements in Ireland/EU
QUALIFICATIONS
  • ~15 years of HR generalist experience, or other relevant HR experience, with a world-class global financial services firm
  • Experience supporting multi-functional, mid-sized employee populations in a matrixed, global organisation
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting IAF/SEAR/Fitness and Probity Regime frameworks and compliance in a global financial services firm
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with COEs and operating within a global HR model
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organisational levels
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable with operational execution
  • Excellent communication and coaching capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable using data to inform decisions
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and lead through change
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to inclusion and employee experience
  • Self-starter who has a strong work ethic; displays the ability to work independently; is creative; and entrepreneurial
  • Displays maturity, excellent attitude, outstanding judgment, critical thinking, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Pragmatic, results-driven and "can do" attitude is essential
  • Acts professionally regarding sensitive subjects and maintains confidentiality while exercising discretion at all times

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – appropriately crafts written communications; has the presence and confidence to represent the HC team and the firm in a professional manner
  • Team-player – willing to pitch-in when needed to help on projects, tasks and initiatives, as and when needed; enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment; humble and enthusiastic with the desire to learn

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role (CF2) under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regime. Commitment to adhere to the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) Conduct Standards is a requirement for this role.
