HR Technology Analyst

As part of our Enterprise Applications Team, you will join an existing team supporting and developing mission-critical, enterprise-wide HR systems, with a strong focus on technologies such as SQL and business process improvement. This position includes responsibilities for both support and ongoing development, and requires regular meetings with the customer to discuss their needs. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in both IT and business analysis, and strengthen your stakeholder engagement skills. Working collaboratively, you’ll contribute to solutions that support thousands of users across large organisations and play a key role in ongoing change and improvement initiatives

You will…
  • Build deep knowledge of the client’s HR technologies and the business processes they support
  • Provide proactive application support, including system administration and issue resolution
  • Actively manage any system issues that occur, identifying and implementing the best possible solution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Participate in change initiatives, attending workshops, designing enhancements, and delivering implementations
  • Obtain the technical skills and business understanding, to develop solutions that are aligned with the organisation’s requirements
You should have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in using technology to solve real-world business challenges
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a technical or systems-focused role within a business or enterprise environment
  • Confident working with SQL to extract, join, filter, and update data, with experience navigating relational databases to support business operations or system enhancements
  • Strong communication skills (including fluent English), self-starting and self-motivation, leadership and facilitation skills, etc.
Desirable experience…
  • Familiarity with event-driven programming and object-oriented principles
  • Understanding of software development life cycles, particularly waterfall
  • Experience writing and executing test cases
  • Exposure to enterprise application development tools used for configuring and extending HR systems, such as low-code platforms or metadata-driven frameworks
  • Knowledge of version control systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
