We are looking for an HR Generalist to provide local HR support for our growing Lisbon site. This is a key HR position on the ground, providing hands-on employee support while ensuring smooth HR operations. As the first point of contact for all HR matters on-site, you will be instrumental in securing a positive employee experience, maintaining compliance, and supporting our people operations locally.
In addition to your HR responsibilities, you will also oversee day-to-day workplace and administrative operations, ensuring smooth coordination of office activities and supporting IT logistics in collaboration with the global teams.

What You'll Be Doing- Support all HR processes in our Lisbon office, including onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
- Own day-to-day office and facilities operations and serve as the primary point of contact for building maintenance (IDEA), working in close collaboration with the Site Manager and the Tel Aviv admin team.
- Welcome visitors, direct them, and manage planning and logistics for calendars, meetings, and conference rooms.
- Lead office and facilities maintenance (building maintenance, cleaning, F&B orderings, furniture, mail, and deliveries).
- Own IT logistics by managing computers for onboarding and offboarding, coordinating with the Tel Aviv IT team on equipment, repairs, and technical issues, and supporting the setup and execution of company-wide and development meetings.
- Conducted HR orientations and facilitated the integration of new employees into the Lisbon office.
- Organize employee engagement activities, team events, and wellness initiatives tailored to the Lisbon team.
- Manage relationships with local vendors (recruiting, facilities)
- Act as the liaison between employees and cross-functional teams (IT, Facilities, HR Operations) to address onsite needs.
- Provide guidance on employment contracts, payroll processes, and benefits administration in coordination with global HR.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Coordinate interviews for all Lisbon roles, and serve as the primary point of contact for Lisbon-based recruitment vendors. Ensure a fast, efficient, and positive candidate experience through timely communication and close collaboration with the site manager, hiring managers, and recruitment team.
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role in a global tech company
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws and HR best practices- Optional
- Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (verbal & written)
- Excellent operational, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to build relationships and act as a trusted point of contact for employees
- Proactive, initiative, and resourceful
