We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support the local Head of HR in various activities and projects in all areas from onboarding to offboarding, recruitment, performance management, training and development, Talent Management and Compensation and benefits for Dublin employees.   

Main responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle

  • First point of contact for employees and line managers providing expert support on all People-related queries 
  • Assist with the development, updating and enhancement of tools, policies, procedures and systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice
  • Follow up on holidays, leaves, absences and Probationary Periods and issue of correspondence to employees, prepare Group reporting as required
  • Maintain relationship with employee related insurers and pensions partners
  • Manage exit process (administration notifications and exit interviews…)
  • Keep all HR e-files maintained and updated  

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Alignment with Hiring managers on business needs and job descriptions completing Workday job advertisements, CV screening and conducting interviews as required
  • Liaise with local authorities for work permits requests where necessary
  • Preparation of employment contracts and all offer documentation
  • Support seamless onboarding by ensuring all new hire documentation and data is recorded correctly

Payroll and related activities

  • Assist with monthly payroll preparation, including collation and communication of monthly exceptions to external payroll providers
  • Check internal system (Workday) dashboard to ensure data quality as per Group standards
  • Prepare Group reporting as required

International Mobility

  • Support with the administration of international mobility (short term and long term assignments) in collaboration with the Center of expertise and the external parties involved for immigration, relocation, tax and social security matters

Compensation and Reward

  • Support with annual salary market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
  • Contribute to ensure annual compensation review cycle is timely and correctly run

Training & Development

  • Monitoring of mandatory training timely completion by employees and follow-up
  • Participation in coordination of in-house trainings and external professional trainings

Performance Management

  • Support with yearly Performance management cycle from Target setting, to End of year reviews
  • Support Line Managers with performance management cycle including coaching on underperformance where necessary

Annual Talent review cycle

  • Assist Head of HR with talent segmentation process

HR Communications

  • Assist with the regular preparation of internal HR communications tailored to the Ireland team

Employee Engagement

  • Support all employee engagement initiatives including management and communication of bi annual employee listening surveys

Skills required

  • Highly organised and self-motivated, customer focused mindset, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail,  ensuring accuracy in all HR processes and documentation
  • A passion for confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • You have strong problem-solving abilities; results-oriented approach.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • A really strong team player who has the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • You have a pro-active attitude and high ethical standards.
  • Good knowledge of HR activities and of Irish labour employment law,a dna
  • Autonomy, sense of initiative, hands on attitude.

Professional experience required:

  • CIPD qualified and/or third level qualification.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in a Human Resources function preferably with a global understanding of the employee lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of Workday and Sharepoint would be an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation
