Job Description

This is a fixed term contract of 18 months. The HR Administrator will have exposure to the day-to-day operations of a busy, global Human Resources department. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will contribute in a meaningful way to the accomplishment of the Human Resources objectives, which support our high-performance culture of professional development, quality, productivity and standards.  

Key Accountabilities of the Role

  • Administration related to onboarding, offboarding, transfers and reporting line changes for employees in Ireland, Luxembourg and Australia including updating our system Workday.
  • Benefits administration: Health insurance, Tax Saver Scheme, Bike to Work scheme, pension administration
  • Management of the HR mailboxes and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • General HR administration: creating contracts, reference letters, completion of salary certificates etc
  • Management of the onboarding process, collation of references, qualifications and new hire documentation for new starters
  • Completing the HR induction programme for new starters
  • HR file management and maintenance
  • Completing exit interviews for leavers
  • Coordinating with the IT team in relation to new starters and leavers and system access
  • Assist employees in their use of the Workday system and regarding HR policies
  • Ensuring the HR SharePoint site is updated as necessary
  • HR tasks related to monthly payroll
  • Working on HR projects and initiatives as required
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience

  • 1 year experience in HR administration
  • HR qualification or relevant business field
  • Workday experience an advantage
  • Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach
  • Ability to provide a consistently, high-quality service to internal clients
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • High focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask
  • Excellent team player, who is comfortable working independently
