About the role

We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our Irish HR team and support all AIG entities based out of Ireland. The role is office based with opportunity to work some days remotely and will report directly to our Head of HR Ireland. The team operates across all AIG entities based in Ireland and will work closely with our global HR COEs located across the globe (as Tax, Compensation & Benefits, Learning and Development, HR Operations, Employee Relations). This role will be supporting our businesses in all HR fields, but with focus on Talent Acquisition (recruitment, employer branding & onboarding), HR Admin, Comp & Ben (primarily payroll) but also general HR support to management & staff.

Talent Acquisition

  • Support leaders through the full recruitment process (from assessment of need to selection of candidate to onboarding)
  • Work with existing TA partners in both recruitment and branding
  • Coordinate TA processes and continue develop the recruitment processes
  • Provide HR Inductions for new Joiners

Compensation & Benefits

  • Function as the second layer of support in payroll administration (payroll is outsourced and internally coordinated by another team member)
  • Manage the relationship with our benefits partners including scheme renewals (Pension, healthcare, life assurance, wellbeing, and PHI)
  • Together with our Global Compensation team, ensure compensation assessments and reporting’s are in line with AIG company standards.

Leadership & Staff support

  • Support leaders and staff in general HR queries connected to existing HR processes and policies
  • Coach, guide and share expertise across a wide range of people interventions

HR Projects

  • Drive own HR projects locally
  • Participate in bigger local HR projects as well as participate and support global HR projects

HR Administration

  • Assist with the full cycle of HR administration queries ensuring key SLA’s and HR compliance are fully met.
  • Manage and coordinate various reporting requirements across the HR fields
  • Assist with policy updates & keep up to date with local legislations.
  • Manage and support processing of the HR life cycle (new joiners, employment contracts, changes, and leavers)

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for someone with an interest in working within a large multinational organization and who enjoys working with people. The successful candidate will have the ability to support and be a part of the HR team on a variety of HR topics and will take ownership and responsibility for the Talent Acquisition and HR Admin activity in the Dublin office, while also working on Comp & Ben and getting exposure to some exciting local and global initiatives. Preferred experience include:

  • Previous HR experience, i.e., as a HR Admin, Junior HR Generalist, Comp & Ben Analyst, Recruiter.
  • University Degree in relevant field and/or CIPD qualification.
  • Delivers a high-level exceptional client service to employees, HR colleagues and others.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, results driven, open to feedback and overall, a collaborative and enthusiastic team player.
  • Proficient analytical and time management skills.
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills with a client-service mindset.
  • Excellent technology skills, specifically Power BI, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Previous experience using HR systems such as workday and Beamery (preferable).
