We have a hybrid working policy with two mandatory days a week in our Dublin office, you have the freedom to design a routine that supports your productivity and personal life. Role Purpose

  • Full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) performance for key partners, driving both revenue growth and cost efficiency. You will be responsible foroptimizing trading strategies, managing end-to-end revenue and costs, and setting clear performance targets.  
  • Lead a team of cross-domain experts, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.  
  • Strategic insights and strong leadership will be crucial in delivering sustainable, positive commercial outcomes, all while working closely with some of the world’s leading travel brands. 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Optimise trading performance across your P&L: accountability for setting and managing the execution of trading strategies for your partners;
  • End-to-end cost management of your P&L and geographies: making active choices to manage for costs such as captive costs, chargebacks and customer service fees;
  • End-to-end revenue management of your P&L and geographies: making active choices around and have final sign off for decisions on pricing, content management, marketing funds, loyalty campaigns, CRM campaigns, digital marketing, sort optimisation, supplier marketing initiatives (e.g. SEE campaigns) etc. to achieve P&L targets;
  • Setting and aligning on P&L performance targets: Establish and hit P&L performance targets across your partners and Squad;
  • Process and tool establishment: Develop and embed processes and tools for effective P&L and partner performance management within your Squad;
  • Provide P&L team leadership: Hire, directly manage, coach, and develop cross-domain experts in your Squad. Set clear expectations (e.g., OKRs), provide regular actionable feedback (e.g., via performance evaluations), and maintain a high-performance and ownership culture;
  • Accountable for performance evaluations and ASR conversations with SMEs. Accountable to align with Lead on both for CRM and Analysts performance outcomes;
  • Stakeholder communication: Ensure key stakeholders understand the drivers of performance and the approach taken to optimize performance through proactive communication and performance management;
  • Cross-functional alignment: Work with cross-functional/team leaders and P&L peers to define and prioritize, for example, P&T, Data Science, and MVT testing roadmaps to support P&L target achievement.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: Min 5 years in a similar role with end-to-end P&L ownership experience;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong understanding of financial metrics and ability to synthesize and leverage multi-variate data insights;
  • Commercial Acumen: making informed decisions, often with limited or incomplete data, aligned with the business and partner objectives, to maximise the long-term profit of your P&L.
  • Negotiation skills: Proven history of delivering sustainable, positive commercial outcomes from negotiations;
  • Cross functional leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead cross-domain subject matter experts to drive revenue growth and achieve sustained cost efficiencies;
  • Strategic program design: Experience in designing and leading complex strategic programs, working with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive commercial outcomes against committed timelines;
  • eCommerce trading strategy execution: Experience in executing eCommerce trading strategies across pricing, content management, digital marketing, CRM, and front-end optimization;
  • People Leadership and performance management: Proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Influence and Stakeholder Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with diverse stakeholders, building buy in and clarity on performance strategies.
  • Self-starter attributes: High level of curiosity, ownership, and hunger – demonstrate ownership of your P&L.
