This role is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of our growing brands at saas.group.

ScraperAPI is an enterprise-scale web scraping solution, trusted by businesses across a wide range of industries to extract crucial data at scale. From e-commerce, travel to real estate and market research, we support companies in turning the web into actionable insights.

We’re currently on an exciting growth journey, scaling rapidly as demand for reliable, high-performance web scraping and data keeps rising.

Profile Overview

We're looking for a marketing leader who can take our ScraperAPI brand to the next level. You'll be steering our marketing ship during an exciting time as we're shifting gears from our product-led roots toward a sales-driven approach. With a solid team of three marketers already in place, you'll have the chance to shape our strategy while working hand-in-hand with our sales and product folks.

This isn't your typical corporate marketing role – you'll have real ownership and impact at a fast-growing API product where decisions happen fast and good ideas win. You'll report directly to our CRO and play a key role in how we position ourselves, tell our story, and drive growth. If you're someone who thrives at the intersection of technical products and creative marketing, we'd love to chat.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

  • Mapping our marketing landscape – assessing what's working, spotting quick wins, evaluating if we have the right team structure, and creating a practical framework to measure what matters
  • Crafting a plan that honors our product-led growth DNA while building out our enterprise sales muscle – complete with metrics that tell us if we're on the right track
  • Taking ownership of the marketing budget and establishing processes for tracking ROI across all initiatives
Your responsibilities
  • Build and run a comprehensive marketing strategy that bridges the gap between our self-serve users and our growing enterprise sales motion, while developing a long-term vision aligned with our broader business goals.
  • Lead our marketing team with a mix of strategic direction and hands-on support – regular check-ins, helping them prioritize, and clearing roadblocks while orchestrating collaboration between your core team, freelancers, and the Central Marketing team at saas.group.
  • Own how we talk about ScraperAPI – our positioning, messaging, and brand voice – with a special knack for speaking the language of developers while making our value clear to decision-makers.
  • Establish frameworks for measuring marketing performance, optimizing campaigns, and demonstrating clear contribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Work in lockstep with our sales team to make sure marketing is generating the right kinds of leads and opportunities.
  • Make our website and digital presence work harder for us, including the tough calls on tech and user experience.
What You bring to the table
  • 7+ years in marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with both product-led and sales-led growth – you understand the nuances of each and how to make them work together.
  • A track record marketing to technical audiences – ideally developer tools, APIs, or similar products where you've had to translate complex tech into compelling value.
  • Strong people leadership – you know how to build teams that both deliver results and actually enjoy working together.
  • Experience owning marketing budgets and demonstrating clear ROI, with a history of connecting marketing investments to business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with the marketing tech stack – you know your way around analytics platforms, CRMs, and content systems, and can use them to make smarter decisions.
What’s in it for You
  • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like.
  • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
  • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
  • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
  • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally.
  • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.

ScraperAPI  is part of saas.group and we have a shared goal of succeeding together.
