The Head of Growth Marketing at 5X will lead growth marketing initiatives, develop strategies for customer acquisition, create messaging and campaigns for awareness, and manage marketing investments. The role requires collaboration with sales and product teams, data analysis, and creativity to optimize growth channels and user conversion funnels.
About the role
As Growth Marketer at 5X you'll be the driving force behind all our growth marketing initiatives.
You’ll craft growth marketing strategies and sales plays that will help us crack into key accounts, and acquire SMB customers at scale.
You'll collaborate with our sales and product marketing teams to create messaging, sales plays, and campaigns that will build awareness for 5X within our target market.
What you’ll do
- Establish growth marketing as a strategic function with the opportunity to eventually hire and grow a team after validating successful strategies.
- Directly own and drive customer acquisition – acorss outbound, google, linkedin, and other channels
- Manage email campaigns, come up with new sales plays, write messaging that’ll break through the clutter and get meetings
- Own paid marketing campaigns to drive free trials and demos. Across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other online publications.
- You’re leverage data engineering communities to promote 5X products & thought leadership content
- Create landing pages that drive conversions
- Communicate and work with executives and the broader company to gain buy-in and support for growth marketing strategies.
- Lead annual planning and road mapping for marketing campaigns
Skills we are looking for
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing and/or demand generation for high-growth B2B SaaS companies
- Zero-to-one growth - Experience in establishing and scaling growth channels
- Customer intuition - Ability to discover market gaps and position 5X as an effective solution. Translate this insight into sales plays and campaigns that can lead to free trials and demos
- Experience leading outbound initiatives and teams
- Analytical and data-informed - You love to dive into numbers to identify less obvious bottlenecks and identify high-leverage opportunities. Experience with google analytics and heap is an added bonus.
- Creative excellence - Strong creative abilities and taste with proven ability to look at marketing communications through the eyes of the audience
- First-principles thinker - You have a reputation for repeatably building new growth levers and thinking creatively and from first principles.
