Job Description

Main Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for managing Fund Accounting client service delivery across Ocorian’s global client base and service locations.
  • Accountable for best-in-class service execution through regular touchpoints with clients, monitoring KPI’s and ensuring that the accounting teams are resourced to deliver service in line with service level agreements and client expectations.
  • Maximise the global operating model by ensuring best practice by asset class is consistently deployed.
  • Design, build and deploy client solutions to support both new and existing business in an efficient and profitable manner
  • Review and update policies and procedures covering the financial reporting  process with reference to local and global legal, regulatory requirements and changes in Accounting standards.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement to ensure efficiency and capacity can be increased.
  • Ensure Ocorian’s global risk control framework is consistently complied with by the Fund Accounting teams.
  • Lead the interaction with project and product development teams for the Fund Accounting Operating platform development including system enhancements, testing, implementations and upgrades.
  • Build on a positive work environment for our staff. Recruit, retain and develop talent within our business.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience 

  • At least 10 years experience within Fund Accounting, specifically Private Markets 
  • Experience running a Fund Accountancy team within a Fund Administrator. 
  • Have strong operational effectiveness in implementing operational processes, resolving issues and building capability and systems for the function.
