The Head of EU Sales at Square will drive sales strategy and growth in Ireland, Spain, and France, leading Account Executive teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions - to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.

The Role
Square's mission is to empower businesses of every size to start, run, and grow. As we expand our footprint across Europe, we're hiring a strategic and hands-on Sales leader to drive our success in Ireland, Spain, and France.
This is a build-and-scale role. The foundation is in place, but we're still shaping the systems, processes, and playbooks that will enable sustainable growth. You'll be part of Square's International Sales leadership team, working closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to connect strategy and execution across the region. We're looking for a leader who can set direction, develop talent, and execute with precision. You must be comfortable moving between long-term planning and day-to-day problem solving.
This is a key opportunity to help define the next chapter of Square's Sales organization in Europe-and to grow into a long-term leadership role within our global team. You will report to the Head of Global Sales for Square. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland - hybrid.

You Will
- Own the Sales strategy for Ireland, Spain, and France-defining goals, operating plans, and success metrics.
- Lead and develop Account Executive teams to exceed pipeline, conversion, and revenue targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Operations to ensure aligned execution and customer impact.
- Recruit and coach top-performing sellers and managers, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to refine forecasting, territory design, and compensation.
- Use data and insights to refine sales motions, improve productivity, and remove friction from the Sales cycle.
- Represent the voice of our customers-sharing customer insights and field feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
You have
- Proven experience developing and executing Sales strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Success building or scaling Account Executive teams in high-growth tech or financial services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence across departments.
- A hands-on, data-driven leadership style, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or French preferred.
- A builder's mindset and long-term ambition to grow as a tenured leader at Square.
