About this Team

Our Recruiting team is the gateway connecting exceptional humans to meaningful, high-impact work. We’re a close-knit, mission-driven crew that takes pride in thoughtful, relationship-first hiring. We partner deeply with teams across OpenAI to find, engage, and support the people who will shape the future of AI.

Our Go-to-Market (GTM) team is scaling rapidly to bring OpenAI’s products to customers and partners around the world. GTM hiring at OpenAI focuses on building a world-class team across Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Technical Solutions.

About this Role

This is a high-impact role, where you’ll operate as a strategic talent partner not just executing searches, but shaping how we attract, assess, and hire exceptional GTM talent globally. You’ll own searches end-to-end, working closely with senior stakeholders to define hiring strategies, navigate complex markets, and deliver outstanding outcomes.

You’ll report to the regional recruiting lead and collaborate closely with global recruiting, People, and business leadership to scale our GTM organisation in a thoughtful, high-quality way. This role can be based in either of our London or Dublin offices.

Your responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring for GTM roles, from scoping and calibration through to offer and close.

  • Partner closely with senior business leaders to deeply understand team needs, define hiring strategies, and translate business priorities into actionable talent plans.

  • Build and execute proactive, data-informed sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre and diverse talent across competitive markets.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, driving alignment, challenging assumptions, and maintaining a consistently high hiring bar.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects OpenAI’s values and mission.

  • Navigate complex, global hiring environments by partnering with People, Legal, and Compensation to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance.

  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions to increase quality and velocity.

  • Bring market intelligence and insights to stakeholders, influencing hiring decisions and shaping talent strategy.

We’re seeking

7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house at high-growth or high-bar environments.

  • Proven track record of hiring for GTM functions (e.g. Sales, Technical Success, RevOps, Partnerships, User Ops).

  • Strong talent judgment, you can assess both experience and potential, and consistently raise the bar.

  • Comfortable operating as a strategic partner, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.

  • Highly execution-oriented, with the ability to run multiple complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

  • Skilled in building pipelines from scratch, especially in competitive or emerging talent markets.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across regions and cultures.

  • Data-informed and structured in your approach, using insights to guide decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Experience with modern recruiting tools and a mindset for leveraging new technologies.
