As the Director Line of business leader for the Water Line of Business within Industrial Automation Smart Energy at Honeywell, based in Europe, you will lead the end-to-end management of the water portfolio with a strong focus on innovation, software enabled solutions development, and market penetration. This is a people leadership role where fostering a shared vision and driving the growth and development of your team are critical to success.

You will report directly to senior leadership and work from our Europe location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will shape the strategic direction of the water business, champion innovative solutions, and ensure the portfolio delivers value to water utility customers across value chain while expanding Honeywell’s presence in the market.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the entire water portfolio lifecycle, driving strategy, innovation, and execution to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement solutions strategies enabled by both hardware and software products to accelerate market penetration and customer adoption.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of both hardware and software focused product managers, fostering a shared vision and collaborative culture aligned with Honeywell’s values.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and supply chain to deliver integrated hardware and software solutions.
  • Drive continuous innovation by identifying emerging hardware and software technologies, market trends, and customer needs within the water and smart energy sectors.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and market dynamics to adjust strategies proactively and ensure competitive advantage.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven leadership experience managing product or portfolio teams within Industrial Automation, Smart Energy, or related sectors.
  • Strong track record in portfolio management with end-to-end responsibility, including innovation and market penetration.
  • Deep understanding of water solutions, including hardware and software development in industrial environments.
  • Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and align teams around a shared vision.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and geographies to drive business results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
