Company Description

At Valeo Foods Group, we’re not just about food – we’re about fuelling growth, driving transformation, and shaping the future of our people. With a footprint spanning over 100 international markets, over 85 brands, and backed by Bain Capital, we’re on an ambitious path to double in size over the next five years. To make this happen, we need exceptional talent to lead the charge – that’s where you come in.

Job Description

We’re currently seeking a Group Tax Manager to join our head office finance team. This role reports to the Group Head of Tax and sits within a close-knit team under the leadership of the Group CFO. It offers a high level of visibility and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Group’s ongoing growth and transformation.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities, including the coordination and review of corporate tax compliance across the Group, preparation of tax disclosures for year-end Group financial statements, and management of tax forecasting and provisioning processes. You will support tax aspects of acquisitions and reorganisations, monitor legislative changes across jurisdictions, and assist with the implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation.

You’ll also play a key role in managing external tax advisers, ensuring timely delivery of compliance outputs, and identifying opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risks, and ensure continued compliance across our markets. As part of a growing international business, the role provides exposure to cross-border tax matters and the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

This role follows our hybrid working policy and can be based in either our London or Dublin corporate offices.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a qualified accountant and CTA (AITI) with a strong academic track record and post-qualification experience, ideally from a Big 4 practice or an international corporate environment. You’ll have a solid understanding of international corporate tax, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
