Role OverviewWe are seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join our Dublin engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent university graduates or early-career developers who are eager to learn, build, and grow within a world-class engineering organization.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers and technical leads on projects that improve scalability, reliability, and performance across our healthcare platform. You’ll gain exposure to distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern software practices in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new software features.
- Contribute to backend and API development in languages such as Java, .NET/C#, and Python.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for clean, scalable, and secure software development.
- Help maintain and improve existing systems, focusing on performance and reliability.
- Work with data and cloud infrastructure to support distributed, high-performance systems.
- Learn modern DevOps and CI/CD tools to contribute to automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Engage in mentoring and technical training sessions led by senior engineers and architects.
- Champion RxSense’ culture of innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Some experience with one or more modern programming languages (Java, C#, Python, or equivalent).
- Interest in distributed systems, cloud computing, and large-scale software development.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
