Our Team
Our Above Water Systems team provides design services for commercial and naval ships – as well as providing in-service support capabilities. We’re proud to bolster Australia’s sovereign capability through operational support to our Navy. With ongoing training programs and a team of over 500, our people have room to grow and move as they make a meaningful contribution to Australia’s Defence.
Your Role
Located centrally in Woolloomooloo, on Gadigal land you will enjoy seeing your work come to life on a variety of vessels.
Some daily tasks you can expect to do are:

Perform a wide range of professional and administrative engineering support activities in our naval business

Focus on ensuring our products comply with technical requirements
-
Involvement in planning, reporting and also quality
-
Problem solving, analysis, and generating creative work solutions to work situations.
Your Experience
What we value most from our graduates is a willingness to learn and the confidence to offer solutions, however the below will also come in handy

Recent degree qualification in Naval Architecture

Proven ability to work within a team environment, results focused, resilient, resourceful and a thirst for solving problems

Initiative and a desire to challenge yourself and continuously keep learning

Australian Citizenship to be eligible for security clearance
