Okta is The World’s Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.

Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

The Role

We are looking for a Global Virtual Programs Manager to break the mold of traditional B2B marketing. We believe B2B marketing doesn’t have to be boring. We are looking for a creative strategist who can inject a "B2C flair" into our virtual programs, cutting through the noise of standard tech events, webinars and tools to create genuine excitement.

In this role, you will be the architect of our digital engagement strategy. You won't just run events; you will build immersive worlds, live challenges, and interactive tools that allow prospects to experience the value of our technology firsthand. You will blend the hype of a consumer product drop with the technical depth of a developer community, ensuring our "Launch Weeks" and roadmap releases are unmissable moments.

If you are an experimenter at heart who understands the technical core of our product enough to translate it into fun, meaningful experiences—we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gamification & New Virtual Formats
  • Move Beyond the Webinar: Design and execute virtual experiences that defy the status quo. Replace standard presentations with live challenges, simulations, and gamified environments where attendees compete or collaborate to solve real-world problems using our tech.
  • B2C Energy in a B2B World: Apply consumer marketing psychology to our global programs to drive registration and, more importantly, active participation.
  • Experimentation: Serve as the lab for new event types (e.g., virtual escape rooms, hackathons for business users, live simulations) to motivate attendance.
  1. Interactive Value Realisation Tools
  • Kill the "Static" Form: Lead the strategy to replace static ROI calculators and gated whitepapers with engaging, interactive digital tools.
  • Show, Don't Just Tell: Build fun, self-service assessment tools that allow prospects to input data and instantly visualise the value of our solutions without needing to speak to sales immediately.
  • User Journey Innovation: Ensure these tools provide the same depth of information as traditional assets but deliver it through an enjoyable, value-first user experience.
  1. Master of "Launch Weeks" & Roadmaps
  • Hype & Momentum: Transforming our product roadmap updates and launch weeks from "one-off on-demand webinars" into major, episodic moments.
  • Orchestrate the Moment: specific focus on building pre-event anticipation and post-event community buzz, mirroring the excitement of major consumer tech launches.
  • Technical Translation: Deeply understand our technology stack and use cases to ensure the "hype" is backed by meaningful value propositions, avoiding "marketing fluff."
  1. AI & Tech Innovation
  • AI-First Experimentation: Actively pilot AI tools for personalised attendee journeys, real-time content translation, automated engagement prompts, and generative content creation during events.
The Ideal Candidate
  • You are a Product Marketer at heart: You understand the technology deep down. You can translate complex use cases into simple, fun value props. You know that "flashy" only works if the product truth is solid.
  • You think like an Entrepreneur: You experiment with non traditional demand gen tactics, stay ahead of trends and are the first to come up with new ideas / try new things
  • You are "Anti-Boring": You look at a standard registration landing page and immediately see five ways to make it more human, witty, and engaging.
Qualifications & Tech Stack

Experience:

  • 5+ years in B2B Tech Marketing, Product Marketing, or Digital Experience
  • Proven track record of building interactive tools or gamified campaigns
  • Experience engaging with technical audiences is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Core Stack: proficiency with Salesforce and Marketo (or similar automation tools).
  • Virtual Platforms: Deep experience with Splash, ON24, Cvent, or newer interactive platforms (e.g., Goldcast, Hopin, Welcome).
  • Interactive Tools: Familiarity with tools like Typeform, involve.me, Outgrow, or custom interactive content platforms.
  • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated use of AI tools for content, design, or process automation.

Analytics: Ability to use Tableau, Google Analytics, or 6sense to track engagement metrics beyond just "attendance."
