The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Project Leader in Global Supply Chain Management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and manage impactful supply chain projects, driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring successful execution in alignment with Hitachi Energy business goals. How you´ll make an impact
- Engage with supply chain management and other functional stakeholders at regional and global levels to understand primary challenges and ongoing initiatives
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify gaps and develop business cases, providing management with recommendations on project viability
- Inspire and guide project teams by setting clear objectives and empowering members to optimize resource use and efficiency
- Create detailed project plans that outline scope, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure alignment with overall project goals
- Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with Hitachi Energy policies while monitoring resource utilization and tracking progress against set timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on project objectives and deliverables
- Promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout project activities
- Foster the professional growth of team members by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and encouraging ongoing learning in supply chain management practices
Your background
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in supply chain operations or a related field
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with a focus on planning and resource management
