As the Global HR Director at Sporty, you will be overseeing two broad areas: People Operations and Talent Acquisition. On the People Operations side that means making sure our 1000+ staff are happy and stay with us for a long time. With a host of benefits, awesome annual company trips, and fully-remote work, we currently have hight retention rates, but we're always looking to improve. On the Talent Acquisition side, that means supercharging our recruitment to ensure we have a steady supply of world-class talent joining our company. As an industry leader in Sports Entertainment, we've been expanding rapidly for many years, and you'll help ensure that continues for years to come.


We have HR teams in numerous countries around the world and various regional HR Managers reporting to you. You will ensure global standards are maintained across a large, diverse, and growing organisation.


Responsibilities


Create and roll out a flexible global HR strategy that supports the company’s goals, helps us grow and innovate as we scale


Proactively identify workforce trends and emerging business needs, adjusting regional HR strategies to maintain organisational effectiveness and employee engagement


Consult and advise executive leadership whilst contributing to strategic decision making and ensuring HR support rapid business pivots and new initiatives


Drive retention initiatives that support career development, employee engagement, and company goals


Oversee the global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring that processes are aligned and adaptable to market demands while maintaining quality of hire across all areas of the business


Work with talent acquisition to design compensation bandings tailored to each region based on local benchmarks


Oversee the global people operations strategy to facilitate the centralisation of processes across different geos as well as further develop programs / initiatives that align with company values including employee engagement surveys, feedback loops, and gathering actionable insights


Ensure compliance with relevant HR and administrative requirements are established where applicable across each geo


Develop and oversee global learning and development programs that are flexible, scalable and relevant to a fast-paced environment, focusing on leadership development, technical skills, and innovation


Ensure HR practices comply with global employment laws and regulations, adapting policies to be culturally sensitive and legally compliant across all regions


Promote a globally minded HR team capable of local needs within a consistent global framework, maintaining alignment with company goals


Requirements


5 + years of experience minimum in a senior HR leadership roleExperience at a startup or scaling tech company is preferred

Expert level of attention to details across all workflows

Must have management experience on an international scale

Extensive experience working in a remote culture

Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and partner executive leadership and C level management

Familiarity with HR technology platforms and digital tools to optimise the employee experience and support a global workforce

Proven track record in change management, able to lead through periods of rapid growth and organisational transformation

Proficiency in HR analytics and data interpretation to drive decisions and optimise HR processes

Expert proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential

Remote 90 min video interview loop with 3 x Team Members (30 mins each)
