Job Description

   

The Role:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Global Program Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will work closely with SUSE's sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop, optimise, and execute globally consistent enablement programs that improve key sales metrics (e.g., increased pipeline, closed-won rates and other sales productivity measures).

           Focus Areas

             Include but not limited to:

  • In collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables that are closely aligned with the go-to-market strategy course. 

  • Develop comprehensive, detailed sales revenue enablement programs, including project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for Sales, ISR, PE, MDRs, SA and other cross-functional teams that align with revenue growth objectives.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of sales enablement programs in alignment with go-to-market strategic approach to drive revenue growth. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver enablement initiatives successfully. 

  • Provide subject matter and regional expertise to build and deliver SUSE enablement programs and initiatives that are standardised on a global scope, incorporate regional feedback and are highly aligned with go-to-market strategy.

  • Work closely with global program stakeholders, regional enablement business partners, and global enablement ecosystem team lead to develop and optimise processes and build close, trusted collaboration with the field. 

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to design and implement enablement programs that enhance the sales team's skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques to consistently strengthen sales productivity and performance. 

  • Ensure that SUSE sales representatives are continuously supported with relevant overview levels of global program progress status. 

  • Build and provide ongoing coaching to Sales Leaders and other cross-functional teams, focusing on leveraging tools, dashboards, and reports to help them coach sellers. 

  • Driving adoption of tools and processes processes to meet competency requirements and sales goals.

  • Provide active support by evaluating and implementing sales tools and technologies to streamline sales excellence processes, improve efficiency, and drive global program effectiveness.

  • Manage the selection, implementation, and adoption of sales technologies and tools (such as Litmos, SalesForce, and analytics platforms) that support revenue generation. 

  • Ensure that these tools are appropriately utilised and integrated into the sales workflow.

  • Provide additional training to build awareness of tool capabilities and ways it can help to optimise sales effectiveness.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and initiatives.

  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership on program success and areas for continuous improvement and regularly report the impact of enablement activities against performance and outcomes.

  • Experience managing sales kick-offs or similar large-scale events.

  • Provide strong communication and collaboration with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales leaders, product marketing, and revenue operations.

  • Create and drive data analytical reports within a global sales or revenue enablement context.

  • Proficiency in data storytelling techniques to communicate analytical findings effectively to diverse audiences. Ability to craft narratives around data insights using visualisations, storytelling frameworks, and persuasive techniques to drive decision-making and action.

  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools like SalesForce, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset are required to understand business challenges and recommend data-driven solutions that align with SUSE's Go-to-market strategy.

  • Strong presentation, training, and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver content effectively.

           Skills Needed: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, training, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive Sales Enablement Programs.

  • Experience implementing sales methodologies and value-based selling, such as Challenger, MEDDPIC or related methodologies.

  • Experienced in managing Sales and Sales Enablement tools such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Articulate or equivalent.

  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
