Responsibilities :

JOB SUMMARY:

A Data Analyst interprets data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. Data Analysts gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work with Data Engineers to define new projects / reports and analysis requirements

· Execute and maintain Business Intelligence Reports according to business requirements.

· Evaluate and approve requests for new Customer set-up by reading and interpreting SOW’s for approved KPIs/metrics

· Collect, interpret and analyze data / information from various systems such as SAP, Siebel, Kofax, Boxi, ADW, D365, OBIEE, etc.

· Identify trends within data to assist with identifying opportunities within the business

· Receive and manage requests for reporting execution, which includes, but not limited to incident requests and inquiries, change requests and custom requests.

· Identify and investigate incidents relating to data integrity, as well as business intelligence reports

· Provide incident management activities for incidents relating to Business Intelligence reports and or infrastructure

· Report results back to the business

· Manage Business Intelligence Reports trackers

· Manage the reporting site, which includes, but not limited to adding/removing user, creating, publishing and managing workspaces.

· Create and update Global Analytics Team’s service catalog in ServiceNow

· Identify processes for possible process improvement, provide and execute the solution

· Execute processes and desk procedures relating to Business Intelligence reporting

· Create / contribute to report documentation

· Maintain efficient desk procedures to carry out repeated tasks

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

TECHNICAL COMPETENCE:

· High level SQL query writing knowledge

· Able to understand and explain Database and BI architectures

· Understanding / experience in using BI systems and tools (e.g. Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, MS Excel)

SOFT SKILLS COMPETENCE:

· Systematic approach to problems

· Understanding of how data quality affects reports; and be able to communicate and show to business users

· Good interpersonal skills

· Excellent teamwork

EDUCATION:

PREFERRED:

· Bachelor’s Degree in computing or information delivery
