Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (“KKR”) is seeking an Associate to join its expanding Private Asset-Backed Finance (ABF) business, based in Dublin.

Position Summary
KKR is seeking a motivated early-career professional to join its Fund Expense Governance Team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in accounting and finance to gain broad exposure within a leading global investment manager. The role offers hands-on experience across a variety of activities and provides a strong foundation for a career in the investment management industry.
The Expense Governance Team is part of Global Finance and oversees the allocation of expenses to funds, allocations between asset management and insurance, and handles all queries relating to allowability of expense chargeback. Activities of the team include preparing various data requests, responding to queries from internal and external parties, drafting materials for meetings with leadership, and assisting with certain quarter end reporting requirements (both internal and regulatory). It will entail collaboration with various teams across the firm including Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and IT. This role is a unique opportunity to become part of an evolving and strategic firm initiative to support our business growth. The successful candidate will be someone with an interest in data analytics who seeks an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that has a unique vantage point within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of fund expense reports/ fund accounting
- Responding to queries from fund controllership teams on governance and expense issues
- Assisting in preparation of various quarterly deliverables
- Review of reconciliation of fund expenses to fund financials (quarterly)
- Assist in preparing time tracking allocation files
- Assist in preparation of Senior Advisor files
- Assist with SEC’s Private Fund Adviser Rule quarterly statements
Key experience and attributes
- 0-1 years experience ideally with an academic background in finance and accounting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm, motivation to learn and the ability to be proactive/self-starter.
- Solid ability and strong desire to work as part of an effective and collaborative team.
- Consistent attention to detail; acts professionally regarding sensitive subjects and maintains confidentiality while exercising discretion at all times.
- Effective communicator.
- Ability to condense information into concise and effective presentation
- Technology savvy and an interest in learning new systems and technology - proficiency in S4/SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI a plus.
