Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Funds Business group as a Fund Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the fund accounting and administration of PIMCO's European public funds. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure the smooth operation of our funds and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage European Fund Accounting Function

• Respond to internal and external fund accounting queries

• Coordinate and review fund dividends distributions to shareholders, including coordination of the distribution governance process

• Manage third-party vendors related to the fund administration function

• Support Account Management and business development activities

• Support fund events including launches and liquidations

• Manage various projects related to process improvements, procedure and systems development

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance – preferred

• Proven experience in Fund Accounting within the investment industry

• Mutual fund operations experience a benefit

• Project management skills

• Ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines

• Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service

• A high degree of expertise with Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft VBA experience an advantage

• Strong time management and prioritizing skills

• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

• Adaptable, flexible, and ability to work effectively within a team
