Title and Summary

Full Stack Developer (React.js Focus)

Mastercard Payment Gateway Service (MPGS) is seeking a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer with strong experience in React.js and a solid grasp of modern front-end development. While the focus will be on building engaging and responsive front-end experiences, the ideal candidate should also have a basic understanding of Spring Boot to collaborate effectively with backend teams.
As part of our agile and innovative environment, you’ll help deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric web applications that power our global payment solutions.
Major Accountabilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and related technologies
* Work closely with designers to translate UX/UI designs into clean, responsive interfaces
* Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs, primarily developed in Spring Boot
* Contribute to front-end architectural decisions and promote best practices in coding and testing
* Collaborate with backend developers to understand API requirements and ensure seamless integration
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
Education (Preferred):
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge / Experience (Preferred):
* Strong professional experience building front-end applications with React.js and TypeScript
* Comfortable working with REST APIs and asynchronous JavaScript workflows
* Basic understanding of Spring Boot and the Java-based backend ecosystem
* Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
* Experience in Agile development environments, collaborating within cross-functional teams
* Exposure to relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
Skills / Abilities:
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written
