The E-commerce Product Content Specialist plays a key role in executing the Ecom category strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimizing product assortment to maximize conversion. This role involves analysing sales performance, market trends, and customer behaviour to drive data-backed decisions on pricing, promotions, and product offerings. The specialist will write and enhance product pages through SEO best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, UX, and customer service to improve online product visibility and customer experience. Additional responsibilities include managing price changes, product redirects, new product launches, and variations to maintain an optimized and competitive online catalog. 

 

Strategy Execution & Product Development: 

  • Implement the Category Manager’s strategy, ensuring all product and assortment updates align with business objectives. 
  • Develop detailed product briefs to support new product creation and category expansion. 
  • Write compelling and accurate product descriptions that align with brand guidelines and customer expectations. 

 

Operational Execution of Category Plans: 

  • Execute category updates, including new product launches, product removals, and assortment changes, in line with the category strategy. 
  • Ensure all product updates are completed accurately and within deadlines. 

 

Product Setup & Optimization: 

  • Manage product setup and ensure accuracy in pricing, variations, and product redirects. 
  • Optimize product pages with enhanced content, visuals, and SEO best practices to maximize conversion. 
  • Collaborate with UX and digital teams to improve product discoverability and presentation. 

 

Execution Monitoring & Troubleshooting: 

  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to product setup, incorrect pricing, or category updates. 
  • Regularly review product listings to ensure accuracy and seamless customer experience. 
  • Support the Lead Category Operations in identifying and resolving execution roadblocks. 

 

Cross-functional Coordination: 

  • Work closely with the Category Manager and Category Operations Lead to ensure the seamless execution of product strategies. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Trading, Acquisition, CRM, Designers & Category Research) to align product content, promotions, and category updates. 

 

Data Accuracy & Reporting: 

  • Track key operational KPIs and ensure category execution is aligned with business goals. 
  • Identify inconsistencies or gaps in product setup and report issues to the Category Operations Lead for resolution. 
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in category operations. 

Key Requirements: 

  • Native-level proficiency in French with strong skills in writing, editing, and localisation
  • 2+ years’ experience in content creation and execution, ideally within online or eCommerce environments
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimisation
  • Creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail and editorial accuracy
  • Comfortable using CMS platforms, Excel, and AI-based tools for content production and efficiency
