Job description
We’re looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join us and lead the redevelopment of an e-commerce mobile app. This is a per-project engagement, lasting 3–5 months and starting in October. If all goes well and the client extends the project, this role could evolve into a full-time, long-term opportunity. As a Senior Flutter Developer, you’ll be responsible for leading the development of the e-commerce mobile app, supported by an additional mid-level Flutter developer on your team.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Build and maintain a mobile e-commerce application for both iOS and Android platforms using Flutter.
- Project Setup: Define app architecture, deployment, and establish coding standards.
- Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the app lifecycle from planning and development to testing and publishing the application on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- App Features: User registration, SMS verification, Login, Home dashboard, Product catalog, single item details, Search item, Cart, Checkout, Payment (credit card), Order history, push notifications, etc.
- Backend/API Integration: Ensure seamless integration with the existing backend, authentication, and payment systems.
- UI/UX Implementation: Ensure mobile applications offer seamless user experiences and functionalities on both platforms.
- Code Quality: Drive best practices and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the other developer, project manager, and stakeholders to successfully complete all phases of this e-commerce project.
Preferred experience
- 4+ years of Flutter development experience with hands-on involvement across all phases of mobile development. Team leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Experience in the Planning phase (App architecture and Project setup), Testing, Publishing apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including handling updates, certificates, and compliance.
- Strong Visual Skills: Ability to perfectly translate designs into fluid and responsive mobile interfaces.
- E-commerce projects experience, especially in credit card payment integration.
- Organized: Ability to plan and take ownership of tasks, deliver quality work, and meet deadlines independently.
- Communication: Effective communication skills with team members and stakeholders, showcasing your work confidently.
- Languages: Fluent in English to seamlessly integrate with our international team and clientele.
