Your role at Clorox:

The Financial Controller - Global Business Services (GBS) and Clorox Ireland Limited is accountable for end-to-end financial control, statutory compliance and governance of the Irish legal entity, while also supporting the broader GBS organisation. The role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, strong balance sheet integrity, robust internal controls, and compliant delivery of statutory, audit and tax obligations.

In this role, you will:

As the primary finance owner for Clorox Ireland Limited, this role partners closely with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury, GBS stakeholders and external advisors to ensure compliance with US GAAP, Irish statutory and regulatory requirements, and Clorox SOX and internal control standards. The Controller provides high‑quality insight and support across month‑end close, forecasting, audits, and administrative planning, while driving continuous improvement in finance processes, controls, and reporting.

What we look for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, 10+ years PQE) with a strong foundation in financial control and statutory reporting.

  • Demonstrated experience owning legal entity financial statements including associated statutory reporting, and audits.

  • SOX/ICFR/Controls experience

  • Solid understanding of Irish statutory and VAT requirements with the ability to partner effectively with Tax and external advisors.

  • Strong attention to detail, audit mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience working in a multinational and GBS/shared services environment is ideal.

  • Payroll experience is ideal
