Job Description
 

LGT Fund Managers (Ireland) Limited provides fund administration services to mainly private equity funds and currently employs 70 people. The Company is looking to add a highly motivated financial services professional to join a dedicated team on a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position upon successful completion of the contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for the financial reporting and regulatory reporting for a broad range of regulated and unregulated private equity companies across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Private Markets Accounting Team Lead, the successful person will be responsible for the day-to-day financial reporting and regulatory reporting obligations of private equity funds in various jurisdictions including:

  • Assist in the coordination of audit for 200+ private equity entities
  • Preparation and review of year end and semi-annual financial statements
  • Assist in the coordination of multi-jurisdictional administrator ISAE 3402 controls report
  • Preparation of financial reports for board packs and management and review of the financial data inputs
  • Preparation, filing and query management for regulatory returns across various jurisdictions
  • Interaction and resolution of queries with various stakeholders; clients, depositaries, auditors, regulators, etc.
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects in fund administration

Requirements

  • Business related third level qualification
  • Completed or currently completing a relevant professional qualification, ACCA, ACA, CAIA etc.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Computer literate and competent with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to act on own initiative
  • Experience using IFRS accounting standards. US GAAP, LUX GAAP also beneficial
