The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the annual consolidated and standalone statutory financial statements for our US group of companies, as well as supporting the finance function in various areas. This role involves overseeing key financial operations, including accounts receivable, payroll, deferred revenue, cash flow forecasting, and more. • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payments, expenses, fixed assets, general ledger (GL) postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Collaborate with the AR team during the month-end close process, including raising invoices and ensuring effective credit control.

  • Oversee payroll operations across multiple countries and regions (USA & EMEA), liaising with external providers when necessary.

  • Manage deferred and accrued revenue, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

  • Contribute to monthly and annual cash flow forecasting and analysis.

  • Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (financial and non-financial backgrounds), serving as the primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries.

  • Analyze and report variances from the budget, collaborating with budget holders to provide insight.

  • Coordinate calendars with external auditors and outsourced service providers to ensure timely compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.

  • Stay updated on relevant regulations, legislation, taxation, and accounting standards to ensure compliance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and implement efficiencies.

  • Review and challenge spend requirements to ensure financial prudence.

What You'll Need:

  • Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or a similar professional accounting qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong IT skills and an aptitude for learning new financial systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to contribute to the success of a growing global company. If you have a passion for finance and a drive to deliver high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.
