The role...

Reporting to the CFO for Ireland, you will oversee Finance and Treasury operations, supporting financial governance, internal controls, and process improvements. This role involves financial reporting, safeguarding activities, and regulatory compliance, working closely with teams across the business.


What you will do...
Finance Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in preparing monthly management accounts, reviewing journal entries, and working with Commercial Finance to understand variances against forecasts
  • Partner with Commercial Finance to analyse P&L line items, challenge forecasts, and provide input on business cases, ensuring accurate and well-informed decision-making. 
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly financial reports for senior leadership and the Board. 
  • Take ownership of regulatory reporting, up to CFO review. 
  • Take joint ownership with the Financial Controller to ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed.
  • Assist with the annual external audit process. 
  • Work with a wider team on adhoc projects around process improvements, implementing controls and improving efficiencies.

Treasury Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance safeguarding activities, ensuring policies are strictly followed and remain compliant with regulatory obligations.
  • Review and approve daily safeguarding reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to board-approved policies before the daily cut-off.
  • Deliver timely and accurate management reports to the Board and senior management team (including financial performance with variance analysis, capital adequacy, safeguarding oversight and forecasting across the EEA.
  • Develop and implement finance policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive efficiency across treasury operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial regulatory reporting, including quarterly returns to the Central Bank of Ireland and other required submissions.


What you will bring...

  • Previous experience in a hands-on Finance & Treasury roles in a fast-paced, agile environment. Regulated fintech experience is a plus.
  • Strong business partnering skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and leadership teams..
  • A solid understanding of accounting practices and working capital.
  • Data-driven mindset, curious problem solver, and proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritise effectively, and work autonomously.
