We are looking for a Finance Manager to work as part of the International Finance Team at our International HQ in Dublin. This role is a 12-month maternity cover fixed-term contract reporting to the International Senior Finance Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with both US GAAP and local financial reporting standards. What you will do...
Review general ledger journals across international markets during month-end close.
Manage and develop one direct report.
Manage complex marketing accruals, including variance analysis vs forecast.
Ensure accurate and complete accounting records in collaboration with stakeholders.
Perform and review multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations using FloQast.
Execute month-end close processes in line with internal controls and US GAAP.
Present month-end variance analysis to senior finance leaders.
Manage local statutory audits across international entities.
Oversee designated payroll processes and review other regional payrolls for accuracy.
Support internal and external audits, owning assigned areas.
Maintain process documentation and internal controls.
Who you are...
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP, SOX).
Experience in auditing and people management.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
Experience with Oracle GL (R11/R12) is desirable.
Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
