What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for management and business growth in the assigned territory for all Neogen food safety products with particular focus on Microbiology products.
- Develop and generate sales to meet or exceed budget sales reviews for products.
- Help devise and implement a business plan for this territory based upon business requirements.
- Support, drive and generate new business with existing direct accounts, looking for opportunities to cross sell and grow business.
- Reporting to and liaising closely with the Divisional Manager for Italy.
- Receive and respond rapidly to customer enquiries.
- Have an excellent understanding of the products and services supplied and the national requirements.
- Run and demonstrate all test kits in front of potential customers.
- Be responsible for the first level of customer support regarding technical issues, complaints and product applications.
- Extensive use of CRM providing updated and accurate information.
- Assist with general financial management of territory, including setting budgets, obtaining forecasts and preparing reports as required.
About you:
- Previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be highly motivated, driven with excellent organizational skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Life science, food related or other technical degree desirable.
