Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high quality functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for all PetSafe Brands applications and connected IoT Products: “My PetSafe”, “Invisible Fence Brand”, and “SportDOG”.
- Create and maintain all test cases related to each brand, product, and feature for manual SQA.
- Execute test plan in multiple environments (Production, UAT, Staging).
- Validate reported issues using appropriate documentation from programs like Postman, AWS, thingStream, DataDog, Firebase, etc.
- Work with SQA Management, SQA Automation Team, IoT product managers, and developers to scope, plan, and execute manual test efforts.
- Collaborate with SQA manager, automation SQA Testing team, development team, and product managers using JIRA and Confluence tools.
- Collaborate with Manual Testers to divide features into independent assignments to complete by target date.
- Continually monitor TestFairy, TestFlight, or applicable Mobile Releases channel for new builds from IoT Team, and test tickets included in feature release.
- Update team with reported issues found and follow-up on ticket lifecycle.
- Report pass/fail status for each Feature Release, including Regression Test documentation and Automation reports.
- Report SQA progress on features and worked tickets for each Sprint.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Software Quality experience
- Experience with organizing, writing and maintaining test cases within a Test Management System, such as QMetry, TestRail, Zephyr Scale, etc.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, AWS, thingStream, Firebase, Kibana, Postman.
- Experience testing Mobile applications
- Knowledge and experience with APIs
- Ability to write new and maintain existing test cases
- Balance and maintain independent assignments to complete by target date
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Keen attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure from tight timelines.
