Support engagement with planning authorities, statutory consultees, and stakeholders on environmental matters, including ongoing reporting where required.
Prepare materials and participate in public consultations and pre-planning meetings, presenting complex technical issues in clear, evidence-based formats.
Coordinate with project managers, planners, engineers, designers, consultants, and environmental specialists across Infrastructure and the daa Group to ensure effective mitigation measures, environmental management, and cross-functional communication.
Environmental Risk and Opportunity Management
Identify, assess, and communicate environmental risks associated with infrastructure projects.

Surveys, Data, and Evidence
Scope ecological and environmental surveys; support project managers in commissioning consultants and managing deliverables to ensure robust methodologies and outputs.
Maintain and enhance document control processes, ensuring high data quality, version control, and clear audit trails for environmental decisions.
Policy, Standards, and Continuous Improvement
Monitor relevant Irish and EU legislation, policy, guidance, and case law, updating internal guidance and best practices accordingly.
Identify opportunities to contribute to environmental policy submissions, working collaboratively with other daa departments, including the corporate environmental and sustainability function, to ensure alignment and avoid duplication.
Contribute to the development of standard templates, checklists, and training to promote consistency and efficiency across planning processes.
