What you'll do

As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospects and customers reaching out to New Relic about their digital transformation journey. You will:

  • Manage inbound leads from email, phone, and Live Sales Chat within your assigned region.
  • Qualify prospective customers interested in New Relic solutions as part of their digital transformation journey.
  • Analyze customer needs in terms of current business obstacles.
  • Align with account managers to progress business-ready opportunities and ensure a smooth handover for the customer.
  • Create qualified business leads to achieve a quarterly quota, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Master social selling and communication skills, actively using various tools including social media and web-based tools to engage with customers and prospects.
  • Achieve a high level of collaboration within the Sales Development team and with key stakeholders in Sales and Marketing.

  • Demonstrated interest in technology with a customer-first mindset and enthusiasm for understanding technical solutions.
  • Grit, drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • A passion for sales, with aspirations to grow into a closing role.
  • A positive and agile mindset, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about this role.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage prospects at all levels.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude when facing challenges
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a sharp focus on goals and a clear approach for achieving them.
  • Comfort with cold calling

Bonus points if you have

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Resilient attitude and determination to succeed.
  • Openness to objections and turn “no” into “let’s talk further.”
  • A collaborative approach to working with teams and other stakeholders.
  • Native proficiency in second European language (German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish)
  • Cold calling experience: previous experience in a role that required outbound cold calling and willingness and comfort in making outbound calls daily as a primary function of the role.
