The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Engineer Student will support the engineering department on site to develop and implement system improvements, support site projects and reliability projects. This position will work closely with operational support departments (Operations/Quality//Validation) to develop engineering systems on-site.

Develop familiarity with site processes & procedures supporting engineering activities.

Develop an understanding of Sterile Injectable processing with a focus on site engineering support.

Develop project scope and implementation of smaller projects with direction and assistance from the Engineering team.

System scoping and walk down as part of project execution to develop knowledge of systems.

Follow up and close out of corrective actions associated with engineering activities.

Ensure that work is carried out safely in compliance with the organization’s quality and EHS policies. Learn how to generate quality documentation in compliance with the organisational procedures and GMP.

Take ownership and ensure all personally assigned duties are carried out and controlled in line with internal organization’s policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.
About Your Skills, Experience & Qualifications
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
KNOWLEDGE
Mechanical engineering background and computer skills (MS Office).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess good analytical skills, and have an excellent attention for detail.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Good verbal and written communication, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
SUPERVISION
Position functions with supervision.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Student undertaking a degree in relevant engineering related course.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
None required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
College level mathematics ability required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
