In this role you will lead the development and execution of strategic communication and engagement initiatives for the Novartis Knowledge Center (NKC), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing visibility across internal and external audiences


 

Job Description

This role is responsible for crafting impactful messaging, managing portal engagement, and leveraging automated systems to gather insights and measure effectiveness. By collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams, the Engagement and Communications Manager drives awareness of NKC capabilities, fosters meaningful connections, and supports the integration of NKC into broader digital and data-driven initiatives across Novartis.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to take ownership of communication and engagement strategies, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with organizational standards. 

  • Develop and implement strategies that increase awareness of the NKC capabilities within Novartis to drive visibility and recognition. 

  • Oversee portal engagements and act as a primary Point of Contact (POC) for stakeholders utilizing these portals, ensuring efficient and effective user experiences. 

  • Collaborate with other data and digital initiatives within Novartis to identify integration opportunities for NKC  

  • Work with NKC internal teams to define the scope, goals, and objectives for communication and engagement initiatives. 

  • Provide support for creating reports and dashboards to measure communication effectiveness and stakeholder engagement. 

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's (eg Communications, Marketing, Business Administration), or relevant experience. 

 

English written & spoken, additional languages advantageous 

Strong knowledge/experience in communication and engagement management, including tools and strategies for effective stakeholder interaction. 

2-5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate setting with a focus on communication and engagement initiatives. 

Proven track record of working independently with minimal supervision. 

Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. 

Demonstrated ability to drive project goals and directions through effective engagement strategies.
