We are seeking a top-tier Director of Software Development to support the expansion of our Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) into Dublin. This role involves coordinating software development for multiple domains in partnership with global leadership, having a strong focus on data and data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and a consistent record of successful execution in a similar environment.
What you will accomplish:

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the software development teams within the CDT organization.

Collaborate with product management and other partners to align development activities with business goals and product vision.

Drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable data solutions.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in technology and processes.

Ensure high standards of software quality and the adoption of best practices in software development.

Lead resources effectively, including budget, personnel, and technology.

Mentor and develop a high-performing team of software development professionals.
What you will bring:

10+ years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on data technologies and platforms.

Previous experience in a leadership role within a large-scale, technology-driven organization.

Strong technical expertise in modern data architectures, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead complex technical projects.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
