Summary:

We are currently seeking a Sales Director to lead our growing Sales team in EMEA. This role can be based out of our Dublin hub or remote in Ireland and will also involve occasional travel internationally for meetings and events.

Clio’s Ireland team drives our EMEA expansion and is home to product development, sales, marketing, and customer success. The team operates like a startup within a larger company, which means we experiment and blaze the trail for Clio in new markets around the world.

This team is hyper-focused on enabling our customers’ success at every interaction point with Clio. What your team does:

Clio’s EMEA team leads our expansion efforts in this region and is home to product development, sales, marketing, and customer success. The team operates like a startup within a larger company, which means we experiment and blaze the trail for Clio in new markets around the world.

Who you are:

You are an empathetic leader with a passion for driving alignment.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, EMEA at Clio, you will lead our international sales efforts.  You thrive in collaboration - as a key member of the EMEA leadership team you’ll work with our Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Engineering leaders to drive our Go To Market strategy in new and existing regions. You’ll also collaborate closely with our sales team in North America. You’ll develop the growing EMEA Sales team, and have a meaningful impact on company culture in EMEA.

What you’ll work on:

  • Drive strategic vision to develop mature, integrated customer expansion motion 

  • Partner with cross functional teams (CS, Customer marketing, product) to develop and execute account penetration programs

  • Lead by example on issues pertaining to sales team management;

  • Expertly manage their day so that their time can be split between team management and other leadership initiatives;

  • Drive tactical and strategic ideas, projects, and initiatives across the Sales channel

  • Development and maintenance of external presence in the community;

  • Drive for team growth, performance excellence, and achievement of MRR targets;

  • Hold team members accountable to inbound and outbound sales metrics and KPIs;

  • Play a key role in the development of a multi- product success strategy for Clio in EMEA

  • Actively coach and become a trusted advisor, providing continuous skill development opportunities to both individual contributors as well as other leaders

  • Drive tactical and strategic ideas, projects, and initiatives across the Sales channel;

  • Build trust with stakeholders using curiosity and empathy

  • Exemplify Clio values, partnering with stakeholders across EMEA to create and foster a values-driven culture for all Clions

  • Recruit team members for ongoing and future headcount needs;

  • Additional duties, as required.


What you may have:

  • You’re an empathetic leader with at least 4+ years of people management experience and you’re skilled at hiring, managing, and upleveling talent. 

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience leading a sales function  within the SaaS industry . 

  • Track record of building and leading sales teams with experience in both inbound and outbound sales models

  • A track record of developing people and building high-velocity sales teams;

  • Extraordinary communication and organisational skills. Ability to gain buy-in and motivate a team;

  • Demonstrated success with cross-functional coordination, including planning, execution tracking, decision making, and OKR management

  • A competitive mindset.

The full salary range* for this role is €108,800 to €136,000 to €163,200 EUR and the full commission range is €72,500 to €90,600 to €108,700 EUR. The opportunity to earn commissions beyond the stated amounts are possible as commission earnings are uncapped.Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
