The Director of Product Sales plays a strategic role in supporting delivery of the business goals and strategic ambitions – to be a great employer, to delight our customers and to be a growing, profitable and responsible company. 

As a senior leader in Kainos you will have an established track record in defining and implementing the sales strategy and processes for revenue growth for the Kainos Workday Products Division. 

JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION 

The core responsibilities of the Director of Workday Product Sales are to develop the sales strategy, drive predictable sales results and achieve our sales growth targets.  Today there are over 500 customers using our products and generating annual recurring revenue of over £65million with plans to grow this to £200million by 2030. 

You will lead the global Workday Products sales team, ensuring the development and management of our people are in alignment to the Kainos practices, culture and values. 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS: 

Your responsibilities will be: 

  • Grow the business by exceeding our annual sales targets as we drive towards our aspiration of £200m Annual Recurring Revenue by 2030 

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of 70 talented sales professionals. Disciplined planning and forecasting of sales results with a consistent record of achieving/exceeding plans.  

  • Establish strong executive relationships within Workday Inc. and across our customer organisations, leading to a demonstrable track record of increasing sales and partnership value creation. Influencing, building rapport, and gaining credibility with both business and technology executives at leading Workday customers.   

  • Lead and manage pricing and all sales activities for the product solutions, defining the appropriate go-to-market strategy and executing against a plan to increase revenues and grow market share.   

  • Effectively communicates the Kainos Workday Products sales and growth strategy with staff, leadership and Board. 

  • Develop and maintain a best-in-class sales enablement framework as we continue to grow our Sales and Marketing function to support our revenue growth aspirations 

  • Supports the development of and adherence to Group People strategies to engage, develop, retain and attract the top talent in the market 

  • Ensures adherence to Kainos company culture, modelling behaviours that exemplify the company values 

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Extensive experience and a proven track record in leading strategic direction and vision for revenue growth in complex, global markets 

  • Enterprise SaaS Sales experience 

  • Experience at leading sales and marketing teams, building robust processes and governance to ensure predictable sales outcomes are achieved 

  • Excellent partner and customer relationship management 

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment 

  • Fostering strong and appropriate relationships with senior stakeholders 

  • Acting as a leader internally and externally, displaying a professional, credible and positive image and attitude for Kainos 

  • Willingness to travel regularly between UK and USA
