We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of HR / Director of People & Culture to lead our Human Resources function and drive a people-first agenda that supports the continued growth and evolution of our business. This is a key leadership position that requires a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across all areas of HR, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at executive and board levels.

Key responsibilities & duties include:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and deliver the HR strategy aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Promote the Culture and Values of the organisation developing smart & effective communication channels
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on people matters, culture, and workforce planning
  • Lead on strategic initiatives including organisational design, DEI, workforce planning and succession planning, employee wellbeing and talent development
  • Develop and deliver strong Key People Metrics and KPI reports on Turnover, Headcount, Performance and Employee Engagement Scores etc

Team & Function Management

  • Lead and develop the HR area partnering with the Talent team, ensuring delivery of high performance, engagement, and capability
  • Oversee all HR operations including learning & development, employee relations, and compensation & benefits

Business Partnering & Transformation

  • Work closely with department heads and business units to support change management and business transformation
  • Embed a high-performance, inclusive culture through targeted people initiatives
  • Occasional travel as necessary to support organisational objectives, including strategic meetings and cross-functional collaboration

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Irish, UK and all other markets we operate in, employment law and best practices, including GDPR, Health & Safety, and internal audit standards
  • Provide advice and support to leadership team on risk management related to employee relations, restructuring, and workforce strategy

Financial Oversight

  • Manage the HR budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and ROI on people initiatives
  • Partner with Finance on headcount planning, workforce analytics, and cost forecasting

About you:

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a Head of HR or equivalent role
  • Proven track record in strategic HR leadership within mid-size or large organisations, ideally in a scaling or transformational environment
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR governance frameworks
  • CIPD-qualified (or equivalent)
  • Master’s degree in HR or related discipline is advantageous

  • Commercial, with strong financial literacy and an analytical mindset
  • Inspirational leader with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence at all levels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including board-level engagement
  • Agile, solutions-focused, and resilient under pressure
