FUND/CLIENT ACCOUNTING Director

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Hedge Ireland team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Set guidelines for determining the net asset value (NAV) for funds in a variety of sectors for each measurement cycle, promoting consistency across product areas.
- Oversee relationship management for a broad set of clients, ensuring customer service levels meet client needs and resolving any client issues.
- Participate in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation and related presentations.
- Provide oversight and guidance in setting processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements.
- Resolve complex escalated issues from team members.
- Lead analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices. Develop policies to ensure compliance with new regulations.
- Set guidelines, policies, and priorities for drafting financial reports for a broad set of clients to review fund performance. Communicate reports and highly complex accounting intricacies to clients.
- Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contributions, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team.
- Oversee relationships with senior-level auditors and clients to ensure financial reporting meets expectations and accurately depicts fund performance.
- Manage multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams that serve a broad array of clients. Work is primarily accomplished through subordinate managers.
- Contribute to the achievement of multiple teams’ objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
