This is a 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
As a leader of the Acquisition team, you will be challenged with driving revenue growth, managing a high-performance sales organization. You will have ownership of all sales aspects of the business for the region.
As a Commercial Sales Director, you will be a seasoned sales leader with tremendous drive, intelligence, and capability. As a multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only on the basis of important past experiences, but in light of new approaches and developments that occur in the market. You will also have a passion for technology sales.
We are looking for someone who has built and led sales teams, has a strong track record closing revenue in the software world and in supporting/mentoring/coaching their direct reports that make up their sales team.
You will need to be an expert at positioning business value, selling SaaS solutions within the commercial and enterprise segments, managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with key stakeholders. .

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute on a business plan to expand business into existing accounts throughout the region
  • Guide and manage the activities of the assigned region to ensure that company revenue goals and objectives are exceeded
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Attract, hire, onboard and retain top sales talent
  • Display a detailed understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
  • Work with team members individually as needed while always promoting a healthy team environment
  • Support the sales team on their sales calls as needed with added leadership


Experience you'll bring:

  • Ability to drive a sales methodology
  • 7+ years software sales experience successfully selling solutions at the C-level with 3+ years of sales management experience
  • Experience leading and forming a team of successful SaaS and or technology solution sellers
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Consistent track record of exceeding company sales quotas in a complex sales environment
  • Proven expertise with guiding, coaching and training sales methodologies
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills required
  • Willing to travel as needed throughout the assigned region
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
