About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled RF Array Design Expert to join our R&D department specializing in mobile communication antennas. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and optimize advanced RF array components, ensuring high-efficiency, performance, and reliability across multiple frequency bands.
You will take part in the end-to-end process - from requirement analysis, simulation, and design, to hardware integration, testing, and validation. As a senior developer, you will influence design decisions, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with industry standards, contributing significantly to the evolution of next-generation antenna systems.
The position is located in Rosenheim, Germany.
What You Will Do
  • Design and optimize RF array components, including radiators, feeding systems, FSS structures, side/center walls, and decoupling concepts.
  • Conduct requirement analysis, impact assessments, and align with cross-functional teams to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop, build, and test hardware prototypes; perform integration of modules into arrays.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and verification of RF components to ensure consistent performance.
  • Drive and lead technical studies, design reviews, and drive product evolution, continuous improvement, and technology adoption.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and design environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance or interference issues in lab, field, or customer environments.

The skills you bring
  • A Bachelor with working experience in RF field, or Masters or University degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification with a RF background
  • Work experience in RF simulation, S-parameters, radiation patterns, and interference management and Antenna Design is must have
  • Knowledge and experience in the design of radiating components is must have with hands on industry experience
  • Proven experience in hardware prototyping, integration, and testing across multiple frequency bands.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and best engineering practices.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaborations and technical discussions effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record in technical documentation and mentoring.
